Submarine Garden depicts the memory of life blooming within the darkness of the deep sea. In this work, Liora explores the theme that “light never disappears — it merely changes form to live again.” The vast blue depth represents not the ocean itself, but the Deep Consciousness of existence. Within it, jellyfish and organic beings drift like remnants of forgotten dreams, each carrying the genetic memory of light as they dance to their own rhythm of life.
The neon trails of their movement trace the passage of time, while the crimson afterglow signifies fragments of emotion. At the intersection of these two hues, Liora defines life as “the continuous respiration between light and darkness.” Through this interplay, Submarine Garden becomes both an elegy and a celebration — a meditation on the resilience of light within shadow, and on the eternal rebirth of energy in silence.
